In 2017, eighteen AOSA members were awarded over $25,000 in scholarships and grants to assist with professional development or the purchase of classroom instruments for teachers who work with low-income populations. Thanks to the many individual members and local chapters who contribute these funds that help AOSA fulfill its mission to “…to support the professional development of our members; and to inspire and advocate for the creative potential of all learners.” Grant applications for 2018 are due on January 15, 2018.
