The author considers connections between Orff Schulwerk and Quaker testimonies, and offers suggestions for how teachers of all backgrounds might draw on the values of the SPICES: Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equity, and Stewardship to better respond to students, colleagues, and the world.
