Orff Schulwerk Teacher Education Levels Courses & Certification

Each year, AOSA approves comprehensive Orff Schulwerk Teacher Education Courses throughout the United States. These courses develop adult learners’ musicianship, creativity, and teaching strategies through pedagogy, recorder, and movement, providing practical skills and knowledge that enhance classroom instruction with children. When you complete an approved Level III course, you are eligible for the AOSA Certificate of Completion which may count for graduate-level credit.

Help shape the program as a Course Director

Course Directors play a vital role in AOSA Teacher Education Courses by organizing course logistics and serving as advocates for the Orff Schulwerk approach. These course directors must maintain active AOSA membership and work closely with instructors and institutions to coordinate successful professional development experiences.
