With appreciation for his service, AOSA announces the retirement of Steve Calantropio. He has completed his last day of work as Education Director but foresees continued involvement with AOSA as a servant leader with AOSA subcommittees and consulting opportunities.
Steve has been a member of AOSA for more than 40 years. He is a master teacher educator who has been instrumental in the development of the teacher education course structure and curriculum. He has lent his talents as a presenter at numerous AOSA conferences and shared his gift of teaching with others as a workshop presenter. A published writer, Steve understands, communicates, and promotes the power of Orff Schulwerk in a unique and genuine way. That talent has been a huge asset to AOSA as he developed the education director role, positioning the organization for the next 50 years of growth in professional development offerings.
The National Board of Trustees and staff send well wishes to Steve as he embarks on this next chapter of his life and looks forward to continuing to work with him in new and different capacities.
