Position: AOSA Operations Assistant
Type: Part-time, Stipend-based
The American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our national office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, comfortable with technology, and passionate about supporting music and movement education.
What You’ll Do
- Organize and maintain digital filing systems
- Coordinate and maintain shared drive folders, ensuring files are organized and accessible
- Confirm that scholarship, conference, and mentorship forms and upload folders are operating correctly
- Edit and format documents, reports, and correspondence as requested
- Provide general operations support to the Executive Director and Associate Director
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable using Google Email/Drive, DocStudio, Microsoft Office, Canva, and Zoom
- Responsive communicator who can manage multiple projects at once
- Strong English grammar, syntax, and spelling skills
- A respectful, positive collaborator who works well with people of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints
- Familiarity with AOSA and the history and philosophy of Orff Schulwerk is required
- Dedication to music and movement education
- Preferred: AOSA members with prior experience serving on a National Conference Committee or the National Board of Trustees
Reporting This position reports to the AOSA National Board of Trustees via the Associate Director and/or the Executive Director.
Compensation Stipend determined based on experience.
