Charissa Duncanson

Charissa Duncanson (kuh-RIH-suh dung-kin-sen) has taught K–8 general music in Metro Detroit since 2014. With degrees from Wayne State University and Longy School of Music, she is an active clinician, presenter, and board member. Honors include CMA’s Music Teacher of Excellence (2024) and Ferndale Teacher of the Year (2025).
