Dawn Abed is an elementary music teacher in Alexandria City Public Schools. She is a certified Orff Schulwerk practitioner, having completed all her levels through the program at George Mason University. She has previously served as Treasurer for the Middle Atlantic Chapter where she also presented at chapter shares.
