Dr. Karen Thomas

Dr. Karen S. Thomas is Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Winston-Salem State University. She has certifications in Orff-Schulwerk, Music Learning Theory, World Music Drumming, and World Music Pedagogy. Her interests include musicians’ health and wellness, general and global music learning and teaching practices, and preservice music teacher preparation.
