2013 AOSA Professional Development Conference, Nov. 13 – 16

Soar to new heights in the Mile-High City among the beautiful Rocky Mountains and rendezvous with world cultures, international presenters, friendly colleagues and much more! Check out the links to the left for all the details.

This year’s conference features an extensive number of sessions on world music – a virtual world tour. You can learn dances of China, gamelan music from Southeast Asia, songs from Australia, stick dances from India, and children’s songs from Afghanistan. Other sessions will take you to Israel and the Arab countries, Turkey and West Africa. You can experience Wagogo children’s music from Tanzania, Zimbabwean xylophone music, Cajun music from Louisiana, spicy Picante from the Caribbean, Hispanic traditions from Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado.
