BethAnn Hepburn teaches 4th-6th graders at Henry Defer Intermediate School in Streetsboro, Ohio.  She has the designation of Master Teacher with the Ohio Department of Education.  She is an endorsed teacher education instructor BethAnn Hepburnfor the American Orff-Schulwerk Association and is on faculty of Orff certification courses at Trinity University in Texas, Villanova University, and the University of Hawai’i.  BethAnn is a regular presenter for Orff chapters throughout the United States, and has trained teachers in China and Singapore.  She is the past Professional Development chair for AOSA, and General Music Professional Development Chair for the Ohio Music Education Association.

“It’s a joy to share lessons that bring out the unique creativity of children.  A Schulwerk-based classroom fosters a sense of community as well as individual contribution to that collective.  AOSA is synonymous with that model, and I am honored to be asked to contribute to the efforts of AOSA by sharing this work with others!”
